Joni and Friends hosts Fishing With Friends days, a free fishing day for kids with disabilities, across the southeast.  One of their coordinators is from Jefferson County, Doug Goddard. He and Aurora Moldovanyi have been trying to coordinate a Fishing with Friends Day for two years for Douglas Lake.  They finally have a date!!!!!!!  SEPTEMBER 25^th!!  It will be held on beautiful Douglas Lake in Jefferson County (hopefully the Point Marina)! This is exciting and will be so fun for all of us.  More details to come!!
